Is Deb8er really free?
Yes — 100% free and open-source. Every lesson, conference, and certificate costs nothing. No hidden tiers, no premium plans.
Who can join?
Any student ages 10–18, anywhere in the world. No prior debate or MUN experience needed — the curriculum starts from the ground up.
How do I get started?
Create a free account, then dive into the Learn section to work through the curriculum. When you're ready, join a conference from the Conferences page. Every step earns you Gems and brings you closer to the top of the leaderboard.
How do I get a certificate?
Every conference you participate in earns you a unique certificate. You can view and download all your certificates from your dashboard. Each has a unique ID so employers or schools can verify it.
What's the difference between Debates and MUN?
Debates are head-to-head arguments on a motion — you're for or against. MUN (Model United Nations) simulates UN committees where delegates represent countries and negotiate resolutions. Both are available on Deb8er.
